Rawr!

Half a year ago, I promised my dear friend Äifa to make her a vest from some plush with a leopard-pattern. I got the fabric from Anke. Because I didn't have a pattern, I procrastinated that project a little, until... I wanted to make a vest of my own. So I drafted a pattern myself.

Since I already had the matching thread on my serger, her vest was finished first.

It has pockets in the front. It is very likely that I stole that knit binding from an old T-shirt...

Meh.
...and it also has a hood, that might be a little too small. Meh.

All the edges were finished off with knit binding. I got more than enough of that stuff.

By the way, this is the first zipper I added to knit fabric. I used a tutorial by Pattydoo.

I hope she likes her new vest. I have to admit that I don't like it that much but I am quite surprised that everything looks so cool together =)

Have a nice week =)
